“A bit scroungy, but very quiet. $20 for dry site, $40 for full, plus $8 booking fee. ”

We wanted to see the Soo Locks and this was the cheapest option. You can see the boats heading to the locks from here, but there weren't many while we were here. You could just head for the Visitor Center when you see one going by, because the boats are VERY SLOW going through. It would also be worth going down to the Rotary Park east of the locks to see one go by there.
Remember your campsite number when you book, because it's not on your receipt. We had to call and it took them forever to figure out we weren't in Aun Osborn CG, the other much larger city park.
We got site #28 because we don't need to hook up. It had decent solar in the afternoon. It's grass with a picnic table and fire ring. It was pretty level.
When you come in the main gait near the shore (don't come in from the north; the road is terrible) at 4th and 24th, stay to the left around the playground and buildings. You get into the camping area from up on the little hill.
There are some residents because of construction going on at the locks, but it got quiet pretty early. There was a nice sunset from the pretty decent beach. There's a constant low rumble from the power plant over in Canada.
The bathrooms were closed "due to vandalism." There are a couple of vault toilets up on the hill if you don't have facilities. I'd say the campground can take most any size. There is no host. There's a dumpster by the beach parking lot.
Verizon was poor. T-Mobile was smoking fast-I'm assuming the adjacent tower is them.
KampKnupp would stay here again
