Overall Rating
We checked out several of the BLM campgrounds along the John Day River first, and they were all full of large groups of rowdy looking hunters. (We were here Oct. 6.) We were pleased to find this county park with a great number of sites to choose from.
Our site was sunny, so we were able to top off our battery using our solar panel.
The park also had a flagpole and
memorial to fallen motorcycle riders.
Vault toilets were clean and other campers were quiet.
