One stop for all your needs: dump and potable water fill, costs $2 whether you gas up or not, pay inside. Propane was cheap for BC - $21 for a 20lb BBQ tank. They also have a shower here and a car wash including a super tall bay for big rigs.
Shower is a single room in the car wash building. Get a key from the cashier to access, coin operated loonies. I only needed one loonie and it basically ran without stopping. Water was lovely hot though not huge pressure. Shower stall was large but the entire shower area was pretty dirty and there was just a small table and no hooks. Bring shower shoes and enjoy the hot water!
Gas price competitive with the rest of town and about 10 cents per litre cheaper than in Nanaimo 1.5 hours to the south. Right next door is the liquor store – what more do you need?!
