This camping site exists, despite minimal information beyond this Campendium website (not sure why the BLM public lands map doesn't include this location). As other reviewers mentioned, this site requires an easy 14-mile drive down a dirt/gravel road. No need for a high-clearance vehicle. A little buggy but only noticeable after sundown.

This one is definitely off the road quite a bit, you will be driving past farms and lots of cute cows and find yourself questioning if the site exists- but don’t fret it does! The road is hard packed well managed gravel. The site is pretty small. Functionally an equestrian trail head on federal land- enough space for a few smaller rigs and has no amenities, but is the only free BLM camping we could find in the area between Great Sand Dunes (about an hour away) and Pueblo (45 min away) so it does the job! Also great mountain and prairie views
