We stayed in May 2017 and with a little scouting found a great spot, even found some room for friends. The dirt road is fine, just take it slow. Plenty of turnout places. This is a busy area with other campers and bikers. We had some great biking right from our site. Stay away from the rock quarry and the bike race staging... more

Stayed for a couple of nights while visiting Zion National Park. Very easy to find and tons of sites, I doubt would ever fill up. To find, simply look for Sheep Bridge Road off of RT 9. It will be on the south side of the road if you're coming from the park and is about a 15 min drive from the entrance. Once you find it, drive back a ... more

If you don't mind a little bit of dirt road, this site is great! We tent camped, and drive a Civic, which handled the dirt road fine. Come early in the day and you are likely to snag a lovely boondocking spot with eye-popping views of Zion and Flying Monkey Mesa. However, don’t expect quiet and solitude here. “Great Drycamping Close to Zion”

Reviewed May 30, 2017

Great place to drycamp with close access to Zion National Park. There are lots of sites along the road with plenty of room for rigs of all sizes. Recommend accessing the road from Highway 9 and you won't have the issues with it washing out like it does at the other end. Will stay here again.

This is a very convenient location to get to Zion or Hurricane, UT. There are a good amount of camping spots. You will want to try to get a spot further off the road as it gets very dusty. This is a popular road for bikers and 4 wheelers and boondocking traffic. I have never been anywhere that was so dusty, but my spot was only a few f... more

We camped on one of the ridges on the side of Sheep's Bridge RD close to W. Highway 9. GPS will bring you in on the E. Highway 59 side, so if you are camping here to go to Zion, either ignore GPS for the final portion of your route, or you'll have a lot of dirt road driving to do (as I did...).
