The "B" Section is just like a commercial campground with full hookups. It is an open area with sites about 20 feet apart. None of these sites are level. The single hiking trail near by is very steep and needs some maintenance. Other sections appear to be much better

The campground is very clean and has an abundance of trees. I like that you can drive straight to your site if you have reservations. In this part of Pennsylvania there are lots of hills so there are lots of up and downs and sharp curves that have to be negotiated to get to the campground. If I am ever in this area again, I would definitely stay here again.

Site 83 was private but difficult to level side to side. Otherwise very clean quiet, well-maintained park. Strangely there never was anyone manning the check in office even on the weekend, but it didn’t impact anything. Pet free loops are right next to those with pets so you may hear dogs no matter where you stay. Verizon coverage was low but acceptable. Two bars. Would stay here again.

Lots of little hills within the campground and so larger units may find themselves challenged with backing. The lake is a short bike (or drive) from the campground and there’s a very nice path that circles the entire lake suitable for walking/biking. Small beach area at the lake and lots of places to have picnics at the many tables scattered throughout the park. Also an easy 30 minute drive to the Flight 93 Memorial. We’ll likely be back!!

This is a fairly typical PA state park, unfortunately, with dated facilities, limited campsites where dogs are allowed, and poor signage.
I had reserved site A004, via Reserve America ($6.50 fee) for one night because the park was close relatively close to he highway and Campendium reviews indicated string Verizon cell service.
The campground is wooded, but my site was very close to a water tower and a building that could have used a paint job.
Due to proximity to the highway, there was a fair amount if road noise.
Because the power pedestals share 2 connections, I had to run my power cord under my RV.
The water in the campground was shut off on November 19, but the dump station was open.
I would stay here, again, as an overnight but I am not sure I would stay longer.

Our site was however a little to close to site 72. There is a playground nearby and plenty of places to get water. Was able to get 4 local TV channels. There is a market on RT 30 in town to get supplies next to a Dollar General.

There were several ways to enter this very nice State Park. We followed our RV GPS with no problem to the campground area. If you had reservations, you went directly to your site. We were in the FHU area and proceeded to site B308, which was an easy pull through. Set up was easy with the utilities centered on the site. The sites were nicely spaced. This was a beautiful park with plenty of walking trails and a lake. There are several different camping areas that have different site types such as tent with no utilities and others with electric & water. We were here two nights to mainly go to the Flight 93 Memorial, which was about 30 minutes away. We wished we had spent more time enjoying the park and local area.
