This campground is small and best for tents. There where about 3 sites that would accommodate small rigs or trailers. I’m in a 24’ RV and because the place was completely empty I was able to make it work. You’re at about 10,000 feet here so it’s nice and chilly this time of year. Tent camped here 2 nights with my dog. This place is one of the most scenic places I've been and the weather is nice. It does get quite cold at night. The site host was very nice. I checked the Arcadia campground first but Shannon is definitely much cooler weather and not as crowded. The paved road going up the mountain can be tor... more

Shannon Campground is small (about 15 campsites) and tucked away along the upper reaches of Marijilda Creek on Mount Graham, a pleasant little brook with wild rhubarb growing on its banks winds through a setting of really tall trees and green grass.
