Overall Rating
Our site was a little tight for our rug and Jeep. Lots of mosquitoes everywhere except on the beach. The beach was beautiful with nice sand and about 3/4 mile in length. You can take the old railway trail and come back on the beach
Some campsites in the higher number sites were very open in a small field.
Don’t miss the hike to Cow’s head lighthouse. You can continue and do a longer hike.
Planned on seeing a show but was canceled due to Covid. Saw one in 2017 and now they have a new theater.
You can get internet at the campground inside the shelter which was great or outside/ inside the library in town.
The grocery store had lots of bread and treats also good steaks and ribs.
