If you run a generator, they will put you in site 3. Site 3 is too narrow to level an RV properly and have a front yard. There is no Verizon cell coverage.
Very quiet. Walking distance to large pond.

Well maintained but very dusty roads to get to site. They consider it three camp sites. There is a drive going of the road into a small clearing. I do not think two cars could have got around each other if needed. Because of the recent rain it was muddy along side the drive. Definitely could not have parked an RV at the time I stayed. It was not hard to find a spot that you could pitch a tent though.
There is a lovely pond just a very short walk from site. It was quite, except you are right beside a gravel road and although there is not a lot of traffic, you can really hear it. There was a fire ring and the ancient picnic table was in bad shape with the seating gone. The grass was mowed and ready. I do not think this area is used much. The very nice lady that took my reservation said she would mark me for site 1, but I could camp anyplace I wanted. I was alone on a Saturday night.
Tentbuckeye would stay here again

Fishing and non-motorized boating (boating closed thus yr, 2018, from Apr 1 to June 31). Single site good for a person or a large group (maybe 5 cars). Motorhome will fit. 25 mph on nicely paved dirt road from Rt 153 in Clearfield, apx 8 miles to site. No phone service with Verizon. Locals state no phones work. Had men wildly shooting their guns very close to me at midnight so I left. Site has a fire pit and table. Grass was very tall. Great for snakes to hide in. Wonder if they cut the grass when you make a reservation?
