We needed to park for a few days to wait for a reservation in Death Valley Natl Park. We called, they were helpful and took our information over the phone. They would not take our money until we arrived. Daniel escorted us to our site. Yes, it's run down and could use some love, but bathroom was clean, laundry was clean. People were so friendly. We mentioned we were having trailer brakes problems and Daniel cared enough to listen and suggested a mobile RV service in the area. They came out and fixed our issue. I would definitely come back to Shady Lane!

This is a great place to stay. Close to the freeway. The staff made it all worth. They were very helpful upon our arrival. It is very dated but extremely clean. Will definitely stay again. The time machine was cute.

We got a site on Friday with a only 2 hour notice.
If it weren’t hot we would have boon-docked but needed electricity to run AC.
Dusty, old, and half was permanent residents in old trailers.
Ok for one night.

This is an awesome little place, the owner came out as soon as we pulled up and piloted up to our spot with his golf cart. He even helped up maneuver into our spot and told us just hook up and settled in before checking in.

We made our reservations 4 hours in advanced. Super nice management. He took us to our spot and said get set up then come to the office, which is a cute little trailer. Nice little place.
All the nice amenities.

How could this possibly have positive reviews?! It is basically a junk yard on the side of the freeway with speeding cars, barking dogs and sewage smell. We only stayed because it was late and they had WiFi. But, soon discovered the WiFi wasn’t reliable. What a joke. Would have been better off at a truck stop!

About a mile off the freeway you’ll find this quaint RV park with full hook-ups and decent bath house.
Hot and windy day and night meant we did not want to boondock so this place was fine. Easy pull through site was level.
Wi-fi was not strong enough for streaming but I got 3 bars of Verizon in my phone

Located just off 15 on a 2 lane road. You can hear the trains in the distance and an occasional afternoon sonic boom. All you could ask for. Sites vary from concrete to gravel. Half of the sites are permanent and half transient.

Daniel mentioned gps doesn’t always have directions correct and takes you through a longer way. My Garmin did fine. NB 15 to Old Highway 58, left on Soap Mine RD. Not far from there on your left.
