We enjoyed our stay at this campground. Everything was closed but it was easy to check-in without a reservation. We did not use the bathrooms nor laundry facilities. The setting is both beautiful and a tad shabby.

Some sites have strange hook up arrangements, Sharing a power post with a neighboring site. People in office are friendly & accommodating. Small fenced dog run which floods during rain. Lots of open area, unless it’s a race weekend, then they are usually FULL. Tent sites along the creek. Bristol has a limited number of decent CG’s as most cater to the race crowds.

We arrived after hours so we chose spot 135 and paid in the morning. The office employees were the friendliest people we have ever met. In fact, we accidentally left our water regulator connected to the water spigot and they mailed it to us free of charge the following week!
The bathroom/shower facility was very clean.
We stayed during non-peak season so our closest neighbor was several sites away. Quiet, convenient and inexpensive. Makes for a perfect overnight stay.
A few things to note...
The park is built for race season. That means it's arranged to cram in as many RVs as possible and the hookups are arranged unusually all in a row at the back of the camp spot. You also share the water spigot so you might need a Y-valve if someone is parked near you. Our 50 foot water hose actually barely stretched underneath the trailer to the closest spigot and we ran our sewer to the other side of the trailer since it was closer (good thing nobody was staying in that site)
During non-peak season (like when we went in mid-October), you'll likely be able to pick your spot and have plenty of room like we did. But during race season you'll be crammed in touching your neighbors.
There aren't very many 50amp spots. Again, we visited in non-peak so we snagged a 50amp site, but otherwise they're all 30amp.
It's a bit difficult to get in and out of the facility from the road. We actually missed it the first time and had to loop around and come back. It was getting dark so we missed the signs and the median doesn't offer a lot of space to turn in so be sure to watch your map and slow down as you approach.
It's also a bit steep getting down to the campground from the road. Not too steep that we touch the bottom or anything, but with a 42ft 5th wheel trailer we were cautious of where we turned and avoided some washed out portions of the dirt road down to the camping sites.

For the price we paid, we felt we were overcharged. Very basic campground but the location was great. While we say we will stay again, we will try to find a cheaper campground as we want to return to this area. There may have been amenities but we didn't stay long enough to find them.
Our motorhome took up the entire site, but since we were on an end, we had plenty room. We were allowed to park our car in the next site. If it was full, we would have been cramped! But the site was flat. However, utilities are on one side so we had to run our hose under our rig.
The staff and reception was excellent. We called several times and they always answered and wanted to help in anyway possible. However, since we were still very new at driving our new 40' motorhome, the entrance way had a sharp turn in and down a bit of a hill. We have been asking about the entrance but were assured no problem. Well, not if you are used to driving your rig...but we did it OK. The only tip to make it better was to be prepared for the sharp turn once you enter the campground.
The location was just so convenient, easy drive to and from the interstate. It is near the Bristol Speedway so there is that noise. Since the weather wasn't so great, they had stopped the races.
