We used this as a base to visit Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. The first three rows of RVs are for short term travelers. The remainder towards the rear appear to be residents. The park has clean restroom/shower facilities, two laundry rooms, a club house with full kitchen, patio with grill, game room, seating for groups, etc. There is a neat nature trail on the south side of the park. You can walk to restaurants stores, donut shop, coffee shop. We enjoyed visiting the museum, mine overlook, the plaza, and the national monument. The staff were friendly and professional. We enjoyed our stay in the park and Ajo. Wi-fi here was fair at our site and good at the transmitter sites of restroom building and clubhouse.

I arrived her just planning on paying for dumping and refilling water but with the Passport American price of $18.50 a night I just stayed. The staff here are exceptionally nice, I was permitted to unhitch my car and drive around to find a spot. The spots in the back of the park are the largest and you'll find the large Class A RVs there. The spot I picked was just long enough to park my 28' 5" RV and I had to move my car around to allow people to be able to leave.
There are a lot of 1-nighters here, as was I. There are 2 laundry facilities, all very clean and very cheap. The bathrooms looked very clean and well kept. Walking distance to a couple mini-marts and a Family Dollar.
The park was surprisingly quiet for being on the main road in and out of Ajo. Every door had a note about the Javalinas and I looked while I was there but never saw one.
Would definitely stay here again.

We just stayed for one night to dump tanks and refill our freshwater tank. The host was friendly and helpful. The sites are very narrow but we managed to get our slides out on our 36 foot fifth wheel. The site was long enough that we didn’t have to unhook which was nice. The laundry room was clean with good prices.

Followed the advice of Campendium and was absolutely content! Check in was short and snappy, the lady at the front desk was extremely friendly. The ground was almost booked and looked a bit cramped. But hedges between the spots ensured a kind of privateness. Full huck ups, but no internet reception at all. However, the WiFi worked swift and without any problems. Showers and restrooms extremely clean. For that price you get much more compared to more expensive places. Would always come back!

First, the owner (I assume) was very nice and even refunded part of my payment for us leaving early. My wife works remotely and we need decent speeds for video conferencing. Verizon, which showed as full bars LTE had upload and download speeds right around (and sometimes a bit below) 1 Mbps with a cell booster (that’s bad). ATT uses third party towers and was fast enough until we used up our 400 Mb roaming data. Needless to say, after trying to work on Monday, we headed out to find a spot with better service coverage.
While there, our stay was great. The bathrooms were clean and everyone we encountered was more than friendly. I washed a couple loads of laundry, I did have to run the dryer twice though (it was only .50 for 30 minuets, so no complaints from me). Ajo is a neat little town with cool murals and a grocery store in a hardware store with plenty of veggie options. We would’ve liked to stay longer, but at least enjoyed the time we were there.

Stopped at Shadow Ridge for one night in preparation to boondock for a week at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. There were few sites left but the nice lady at the front desk squeezed us into a spot for the night.
The campground is very clean - bathrooms, laundry room, rec hall, etc. are spotless. Check in was friendly and helpful. Neighbors were mostly seasonal renters.
Campground wifi is free and good for email and other simple tasks. Verizon 4G was fast enough for streaming.
I was near the laundry and there must be central air inside, because I had the sound of a large fan turning off and on driving me a bit nuts during the night. But other than that it was quiet and peaceful.

The Shadow Ridge RV Resort in Ajo has good level sites and a view of Ajo Mountain. A nature trail leads out of the park and through a nearby wash. Wifi was decent. Convenient to the historic town square, the park offers clean restrooms and laundry. I stayed just a few days while my husband was traveling and found the folks who stayed all winter were friendly and fixed a flat bike tire out of good will. The office manager is outgoing and eager to assist.
