“Beautiful, but heavy use”

Lots of sites at the top of Shadow. Heavy use and your on top of each other. There are designated sites but expect late night arrivals to squat anywhere. It gets noisy in the morning. You can also hear jets from the Jackson airport. Other than that, beautiful vistas all around. Short walk to watch the sunset over the Tetons. No need to move for the sunrise as you're at the top of the mountain. Recommend arriving early for the best spots.

“Beautiful Views for the Adventurous”

At the top of Shadow Mountain, there is a lot of space for camping. Most of the sites have great views, though the sites with views of the Tetons tend to fill up first. Regardless, it's a short walk from any site to a Teton view.
The roads to the campsite are steep, winding, and extremely rough. I had to drive very carefully to avoid getting my lifted station wagon stuck. I would not recommend making the drive in any car with less clearance than an SUV.
There are no amenities at the campsites, and the mosquitoes were out in force.
