“Great site Right Next To Boehmer Creek”

This site is next to seven beaver ponds immediately as you turn onto FSR 376 from Gold Camp Rd. It’s on the left hand side of the road. The site on the right side is open with no cover and no water. There is room for 3 sites. One for a tent under the trees and the other two are for RVs or campers. Gold Camp Rd should only be accessed from the Victor side. The road out of Colorado Springs has deep ruts from all the rain and you need 4wd. From Victor there is a tunnel with an 11’2” clearance.

A fair warning that there are LOTS of narrow one-lane passes in Pike NF on the way to this campground, plus a tunnel. The locals drive very fast on the roads and were impatient with us when we had to back up to let them through. Having said that, we are just a van and would not recommend this spot for any large rigs. Also, there is absolutely no AT&T cell service for at least 10 miles, so make sure to save the directions before you go; we didn't have reliable service after passing through Divide. We drove all the way up road 376 to scope out the various sites, and it was worth it to not stop at the first one. About half a mile from the end of the road (where the water reservoir property begins), was a level, secluded spot along the creek with a wonderful little waterfall. I did unfortunately spend about an hour cleaning up trash from the previous occupants but after that it was a lovely couple of days completely off of the grid. We mainly just walked up and down the road, and like one would expect of any woodsy area, beware that there is a LOT of poison ivy. Enjoy!
