We had the choice between this campground and Pelham City Park 8 miles away in town for our overnight stop. We chose this CG for the lakefront property. We had the choice between this campground and Pelham City Park 8 miles away in town for our overnight stop. We chose this CG for the lakefront property. Sites 1-11 have electric (50/30 amp) and water ($20) and are right on the lake. Sites 12+(?) have electric only ($15) and than there are some dry sites($10). The site is gravel and not totally level. There is a concrete picnic table and a trash barrel on our site. There is a sign as you drive into the park that says to check in with the park host. The hosts shed is located on top of the hill. A phone number to call to see what sites are available is posted. She told us to pick a site and she would find us for the payment. I never checked the bathrooms. The park looks like 60's or 70's, the grass was mowed.... kind of a no frills thing and not much updating has happened, if any. The park closes from 10 pm to 6 am (but there is an after hours exit). Those are also the quiet hours. It was very quiet, but we were here on a Sunday night.
EDIT: I did check the rest rooms: they are old and everything but nice. I would not feel comfortable to use them. Also there was a group of people a bit further down (according to our quiet neighbors -they were regulars and locals), that come a lot, had blaring loud music and I found their beer cans littering during my morning walk. We did see the park host and her husband picking up trash with one of those grabber things, but there were some many cigarette butts everywhere. It seemed like an uphill battle. And again referring to the neighbors the park used to be in better shape when the camp host lived there, but now she owns a campground in town too and has to split her time....

Very quiet gravel parking and grass . Picnic tables and a beautiful lake so appreciative of a City who takes pride in thier community. I will keep this one on our lists and bring a fishing pole. I feel the office needs repair or change to another bathroom. Fish were jumping. Enjoyed very much.
Shakeys wife would stay here again

I never actually stayed here, but drove through the park. There seemed to be over 50 sites here. Almost half are right on the water. I never actually stayed here, but drove through the park. There seemed to be over 50 sites here. Almost half are right on the water. Some sites are big rig friendly and it looked like the rest were more adequate for 24’ and smaller. The park is very run down, but looks like it has potential. The office, restrooms were closed and no water. They have a dump station but without water I’m not sure if it was in operation. It was late November when I cruised through here so I don’t know if that is why everything seemed to be out of order or they just gave up on maintaining the place. There were three rv’s that were set up and a couple people in there making a day out of it. Rates start at $5 for no hook up, $15 with electric and $16 with electric and water, but since theirs no water $15 is not bad to be parked right on the water and even some sites have pavilions.
Nitrofish would stay here again
