Overall Rating

September 2003, we parked with a 36-foot 5th wheel and had plenty of room. If you like peace and quiet and a place where the dog could run free without a leash this is a place for you. It is well marked with Montana State fishing access signs. The road could use a little more gravel but we had no problem. There are a number of turnarounds located some distance a part from each other, but we only explored one. I suggest you view the site on Google Earth. The river is nice and clear, but not too deep – since it was September we did not get in the water. The night we were there the sky was clear, the moon had not risen, and the Milky Way stars were clearly visible. For us it was an ideal spot – it’s on the top of the list if we pass this way again.
