Site water connection was in the neighboring site so had to use 35 feet of hose to connect to this shared faucet. This was common throughout the campground. We couldn't find any sites that had an exclusive water connection.
Had to tighten the faucet connection to stop severe leaking
Low water pressure
We had one power interruption during our 5 day stay
Majority of campground is seasonal campers
Ceiling fans in toilet/shipbuilding were on high, even in 45 degree temperatures
Street lights throughout the campground
No entrance gate secured overnight
No security patrolling campground
No camp host
No WIFI provided

Overall Rating
Sites are mostly grass and some gravel all with full hookup. Largest sites take up to 45 feet. Oversized tent sites without electricity but water supply close by. A very quiet campgroup but a rare plane takes off occasionally from the small airport.

Nice little county campground with quite a few seasonal sites. Stayed at Site 31 - Full Hook Up - next to the water and hiking trail. Very private compared to some of the other locations. Stayed over 4th of July weekend and traveled around The Thumb and to Frankenmuth for entertainment. Bathhouse was fairly clean. The place is very qui... more
