Interesting mix of full timer areas and short termers. Our site was nice and level and easy to get in and out. There was a bit of trash strewn about from previous guests. We stopped for an overnight between Dallas and Topeka and would stop here again

Large park with multiple areas for tent and RV camping. It is well maintained, considering the heavy use it has (we were there over Memorial Day). Mid-week most of the nightly campsites were empty. Lake access is easy to come by, with fish jumping everywhere and lots of birds. Keep an eye open for snakes and ticks. There is one set of showers with hot water and excellent water pressure by the dump station. The RV dump has 3 spots and it is free. A campground store sells any necessities you might have forgotten and pizza and beer. (Plus Stillwater is a 10 minute drive away.) We didn’t try any of the hiking trails, as they looked a little overgrown.
Jenn would stay here again
