Overall Rating

Just a quick drive to this recreation area. Self serve kiosk at campsites entry. First come first served BLM site with picnic area and 6 campsites. Picnic table and grill with fire pit. All appeared to be pull through. Several vault toilets AND potable water spigots around. Sites were in need of a mowing but still okay. Trash cans at sites and only $5 ($2.50 with senior pass)! Wow! Easy in easy out. What a great place for an overnight

Overall Rating

Small, 6 site campground, very convenient to I-94. Sites have picnic tables, fire pits, lantern hangers, and bbq grills. Some sites have potable water and there are clean pit toilets available. Hiking/horseback trails in the area also. All six sites are very large, mostly level, and very well spaced. Easy in and out for our 40 foot fifth wheel. Pay $5 at the entrance in an honor box.
