We got lucky and stayed here on our way back to Indiana from South Dakota (Mt. Rushmore/Badlands). We got site #4 and it was superb! Full hookups, clean and right in the Missouri River? Yes, please! The person in the office was very nice and helped us get wood, which was nicely priced ($6 for 10 pieces). Our site was large and we had a grassy area to spread out on. We even had a family of rabbits playing on one end. Would highly recommend especially if you want easy access from the highway, clean camping and cheap for full hookups at $37/night. We did not use the bathrooms so I cannot speak to them. You do get free admission to a nice pool in the park as well.

Large FHU, pull thru site with cable and free wifi that was good enough to stream video. And all for $37! Easy on/off for I-29. Very little "city driving" to get to this park. Some sites are first come first serve. We arrived on a Saturday around 3pm and they still had 2 large pull thru's and a handful of back ins available. This campground is in the middle of a metro area so you've got noise. Sites closest to the river will get I-29 noise which is directly across the river in Iowa. Sites on the west side are next to a water park and athletic fields. When they close you have traffic noise from apartment complexes. Those with rigs 35 feet and up might find the campground roads tight. TIP: No parking in front of the office or after. If you are big, stop right after the dumpsters as soon as you pull in. Office is the first building in front of you.

We stayed here May 11 and they had lots of rain in the recent days. Check-in was easy and staff very friendly. But the 5th wheel in front of us was having to scope a site that wasn’t all puddles, so we had to unhook to move around him. In looking at the campground map, there were several full time residents in the section on the left. The sites on the right looked newer and more transient occupied. We did not realize, but apparently there are often dog shows in town (maybe a central location). Many RVs had dogs with temporary pens and grooming tables outside which was fun to watch. While very near I-29, road noise did not bother us with windows closed.

Good access for our 40’ 5th wheel, toy hauler, fairly level, wide pull-thru, partner said restrooms, showers were clean, good place to stay for a bit while exploring the area. Noise from I29 and trains. Can’t remember our site number but upon walking through campground would not suggest 44 which is right next to a restroom.

We stayed here for three month for a nursing assignment. The staff is great, they go out of their way for you. They even accept packages and mail in the office. The WiFi was great, we were able to stream tv and use our iPads with no issues. Cable and electric was also included in the monthly fee. The long term sites are so spacious that you could fit two rvs in between comfortably. There is an area with mature trees and a newer section with smaller trees. Two bathhouses that have codes that change frequently. No laundry but plenty of laundromats near by. Super convenient to many restaurants and activities. Right along the river and a ton of bike trails that we used to explore Sioux City , South Sioux City, and the river area. We hated to leave and were spoiled by the space we had and convenience of everything. Hate to share this great location because it may fill up fast. Only confusing is the signage for the entrance. Supposedly the entrance changed and you no longer enter by the YMCA, but need to drive a bit further past the aquatic center to go in.

Scenic Park Campground is on the Nebraska side of the Missouri River in Sioux City, Iowa. It is only a 5 minute drive from the campground to the center of the historic district of Sioux City. The campground is located along the bank of the river, the sites full hookup or partial. We were in a partial with electric and water right on the river bank. The park can accommodate any sized unit and there is generous space between sites. We did not use any of the facilities. The park grounds were well kept and maintained. We would stay here again.

We were here for 5 days and really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view of the river and nice lots with some space. Clean bathhouses, we only had water and electric and our could have been a little more level. Some spots are full hookup and have concrete pads. Good cell service and park had WiFi that worked well.
Really nice park.

Stayed 7 days in site 7 which is a pretty large FHU pull-thru. unfortunately its also one of the sites that all traffic has to go past to leave the main section of the park. but it wasn't as much as I expected for the size of the campground. Plenty of grass, hookups were great but make sure you have a water pressure regulator (they do tell you this when you check in). Access off the highway is very easy. People are very friendly and accommodating.
Campground was pretty clean including bathhouse. There's a great bike/walking path around the perimeter of the entire park, which includes several buildings, the campground, and a sports complex. Part of it (and the campground itself) are on the Missouri River. While I was there I couldn't even launch my Kayak because of the flow (although the water level seemed low). Didn't seem like they had any rain either so couldn't figure that out. There's some noise from the highway as well as the trains, but I've definitely heard louder.
Town was not too impressive - there is a Wal Mart, fast food restaurants, etc. Across the river in Iowa has many more options and some newer/nicer areas with many more restaurants and stores. For anyone into craft beer, Marto Brewing in Iowa has some good stuff.
ATT and Tmobile on the Peplink were pretty much awful. Had to reboot several times a day to get back on ATT LTE-A, and even that only got me 5-10 mb down and 2-3 mb up. Sometimes it would fall below 1 mb up. Tmobile was basically useless. Data on my Verizon phone was also terrible and dropped to 3g sometimes. ATT and Verizon claim they have 5g coverage there so can't figure that out... Campground wifi was unstable at best and I was one of the closest sites to the building.
Overall I'd stay here again but probably not for a week mainly due to lousy cell coverage for working remotely but also due to lack of things to due in the area.
