Exactly what it’s supposed to be and what others are saying. It’s very easy to get to, no 4x4 high clearance needed, and plenty of level space to maneuver around. Good for a night’s stay if you want space and no neighbors.

We set up next to entrance. Decided pretty load from interstate. Did some scouting found an awesome site farther back from hwy. Big rig ours is 45 ft, so a few washes me made them with no problem. We like it so much. We have decided to stay for 2 weeks .

The sunsets are a miracle of nature and beyond amazing every single evening. Town of Quartzsite is small but has everything you’ll need. Roadrunner Market is a clean and well appointed market with some of the best beef I’ve ever had. A full clean large laundromat right across the street from the market that offers lovely showers and helpful staff. This town has a lot to offer and is 10 minutes from the campsite. Don’t miss the experience.

Why pay to camp when you can stay here? Great location, lots of room. Clean, convenient and easy to access. The camp host was a breath of fresh air. Definitely recommend.

The host at Scaddan was very nice and accommodating, we where here in OCT, weather was a high of 88°. Not crowded yet but by January it will be busy. Very clean, rock fire pits and tire tracks are the only signs of people being present. BLM seems to be doing a great job of cleaning the area. There is some road noise off the 10 fwy but it puts me to sleep.

First the camp Host was AWESOME.. very nice lady that gave us a local Community paper with good info on the area.
we followed the route from the host to the left and towards the right back a ways through one wash area finding a nice large somewhat level spot close to a huge cactus.. which was cool..
the sunsets are amazing here and when dark falls you can see a ton of stars, and see the traffic on I-10 coming down the hill from Dome rock area.
the big issue here is hwy traffic noise.. ALL NIGHT.. we were only here for the night it was not a big deal but if staying longer would have move further back away from the road.. (nothing to absorb the noise)
you are close to the town so food, fuel etc is close by..
Water is available in Hwy 95N a place on the right that provides dump, water and LP.
Water is a deep well filter water, which is quite good in taste and and show 282 on the TDS meter (hardish water) for .25 for 5 gallons or the RO filtered for .25 per gallon.
LP was selling at 2.60 gal this day. i believe a dump was either 5 or 7 dollars.
you are just around the corner form the LTVA BLM, La Posa N & S, area which cost like $180 buck to stay from Sept to April without having to move like regular BLM requires.
this is a good place to spend a week or so close to "stuff" and sorta quiet but for sure good dark skies to see the stars.

Host was helpful; can pay $40 for permit for long term if staying longer if you need to dump and water and garbage but only BLM site to go for that is south on 95. We weren’t staying that long so didn’t need and just found spots on BLM areas surrounding town that weren’t long term which worked for us. Some highway noise and it gets cold at night and not all that warm in day so could have left shorts home. We also had good experiences with Rv Lifestyle and American Custom Tire.

The camp host was very friendly and helpful, referring me to the nicest LTVAs which I was interested in signing up for after this. You will hear highway noise as this area is off of a frontage road.
By the way, my furnace konked out and RV Lifestyles here in Quartzsite sold me a portable Hearthrite heater while providing great customer service.
