Sawmill Hollow Campground

Not sure if this is the actual area we stayed but it looks right on the map. There is a “camp only in designated camping areas for xx miles” when you enter Diamond Springs Rd, but once you’ve made it xx miles there is another sign stating dispersed camping is allowed. The areas were well spread out and we found a large site right on the creek where we were almost hidden from the road. Only saw one other person camped on our way in, but have no idea how many miles further camping is allowed. Only traffic was people towing off road vehicles, but the traffic stopped within an hour of darkness and then it was total silence. Easy, but narrow after the Fifth Water Hot Springs trailhead. Access to every spot is different, but were short and we didn’t see many big pot holes or ruts.
