The staff was friendly and helpful, and there are many nice hikes and things to do. The sites need to be reworked, as they use a large rock as the base, and for some sites the hookups will be on the opposite side of your rig unless you pull in and drive around. Also the rocks made it more challenging to level and stabilizers shifted some. The map was not quite right for where the bathhouses are, they are mobile trailers and were pretty clean. Roads are dirt in the camp and will be muddy when it rains. Internet was very good but is unsecured so be aware some devices may complain. The road from the main road back is interesting and has some self-patches with concrete onto the blacktop and are rather large. The road up to the place is pretty winding so be aware. The store is well stocked, and firewood was good, which they will deliver. Map for hikes and locations of things is not totally clear or to scale so be aware. The hike to the bluffs is nice, and would recommend it. we did a sunset hike out there and was a nice view over the valley. It feels like in a few more years they may clear some things up and I think it will be better, but right now feels like a little more polish is needed. We enjoyed our time, and was dark at night which was nice to see the stars. If you can go to the lodge factory museum in south Pittsburg was a nice tour and learning the history of cast iron cookware. Was also very quiet at the campground.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I contacted Sasquatch Farm on August 26th. Their website did not list Pop Up from their menu when making a reservation. I told them I had a pop up and wanted to stay for a month starting Oct 19th. I was told yes, I could stay, just choose RV from the drop down menu.
I made my reservation and paid my deposit. 7 weeks later when I arrived after driving over 9 hours to get there, I was told I could not stay. The temperature was going to drop at night and they said they would not have bathrooms available for me to use. They said their bathrooms were in movable trailers and the pipes may freeze. I was shocked. I now had nowhere to live for the next month. I was told I could stay a day while I looked up another place to go. However, there was no phone reception for me to look up a place and I couldn't just stand there making that decision quickly. Plus I had just been told there were no available bathrooms.
I had to drive to a hotel and stay for a few days to work things out. It is hard to find a place to stay this time of year. Thinking I was staying there for a month, I had bought supplies I needed that will now be delivered to a state I am no longer in.
It has cost me an extra $800 to live this month. I have yet to receive an apology from the owner. They say that they accommodate all sizes from tents to big rigs. However if you do not have an expensive rig, I suggest you avoid this place. I belong to several camping groups on Facebook and I have already warned them of this place.
I have looked at their website and see that they have changed their Reservation set up to include pop up/camper vans and they now warn that the bathrooms may not always be available. Luckily I had only put the $100 deposit down and thankfully I did get it returned to me. I would also like to add that I have seen other complaints about the large rocks in the driveway. I will say they were very large and I was afraid one of my tires would get punctured as I left.

This was our first time camping with our travel trailer. Due to work conflict/traffic we arrived well after sunset. The staff had emailed us directions and given us a gate code. Weather was a nightmare coming in. The road leading to the camp side is steep with many switchbacks but the staff warned us of them and we knew what to expect. The sites are sized well, full hookups and feel private. The lake is stocked and my kids caught numerous fish. They have ducks and other animals. Tons of trails. You have to hike to the bluff for a sunrise…totally worth the early wake-up. The site is about 45 mins away from downtown Chattanooga…it’s out of the city but close enough for us to make day trips downtown for activities with the kids. It’s quiet and dark at night so you can see planet of stars. There is a store on site that sells firewood (they will deliver to your site), foodstuff, drinks (beer and non-alcohol), souvenirs, supplies etc. The staff are amazingly friendly and made us feel welcome. There are bathroom trailers on site…clean and well equipped. Overall this was an amazing experience for us. I would highly recommend this place for families new to RV’ing and experienced campers as well. We will definitely be coming back.

The camp store was great with many items. All the people working there were very nice. Daily trash collection at your site.
Live music was also very nice due to some heavy raining the bonfire had to be canceled. Owners invited entire campgrounds to main building and store and provided food to all who showed up.
This place will only get better and better with time I believe. Phone signal was great on Verizon and was able to stream our tv from that.
Our only complaint would be leveling of sites and smaller gravel. We will return again . Sites were very good size with fire rings and picnic tables.

My wife and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend 2022. The park is fairly new (less than 2 years old). It is about an hour outside west of Chattanooga and about 30 min west of South Pittsburg which is the closest town. The camp store is well stocked where you can buy anything you may have forgotten.
The sites are all gravel, but he gravel is large (baseball size) which makes walking difficult. There is som grass but it’s mostly scrub grass and it’s not well kept. There is no dog run and the park itself does not have many amenities for pets.
There are trails on the property and a couple of ponds, but apart from that there is not much to do. There was a band on Saturday night and. bon fire planned for Sunday night. They had activities for the Kids during the day.
Wifi is not great with speed well below 10gbm and unreliable which made it impossible to do any streaming.
The bottom line is that the park is OK. The trails weren’t enough of a draw to get us to come back, and the property itself is still very rough.
