There are at the cheaoah point campground on santeelah, but not at the free designated camp sites that are scattered around the lake. Cheoah Point is a simple little campground but absolutely wonderful. Only a few sites with electric hookups but those are also the furthest from the lake (which is just down thru the woods), and they also have little shade. The non-electric sites are mostly shady and many have direct access down to the water.
Like others said yes at the cherish campground, they didn’t seem to mind non campers using, but that campground is locked up and gated during off season (opened april 15th)
