Large spaces. Fun metal sculptures all over. Large dog park. Runs largely on solar. Great views. Great over the air TV channels.

We arrived as a walk up and they found us a site and allowed us to park until our site opened. There is a great dog area and the other campers tend to be dog people. Bathrooms large modern and clean. They are also Covid sensitive. Great place.

We would most definitely stay here again.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Live music in the summer twice a week it’s definitely a plus. We loved the concrete patios with wrought iron patio furniture.

I preface this review with full disclosure that I have never stayed at Santa Fe Skies Park. My review is based solely on my experience attempting to make a reservation and, not having received confirmation of any reservation, making other arrangements. I wouldn't have thought anything of it except tonight, as I was eating dinner, I received a call from Santa Fe Skies proclaiming that I have a reservation for 2 nights starting tonight. I tried to explain that I never received confirmation and made other arrangements, but the lady who called me continued to insist with me quite rudely that she wasn't going to argue with me and I had a reservation. Having owned a business myself for 16 years I know well that there is a right and wrong way to deal with issues. An appropriate response would have been to recognize that there had been a misunderstanding, offer to cancel the reservation, and express hope that I would pay Santa Fe Skies a future visit. Instead, with the rude response I received tonight, I am quite sure I will never pay Santa Fe Skies a visit.

We camped for a few nights here. We were wanting to check out the Turquoise Trail and this place couldn’t have been in a better location. The campground is very well kept. Our site had a fantastic concrete pad next to our back-in site and nothing but miles of New Mexico countryside behind us. Staff members were very friendly. Good WiFi and great cell service. We took a day trip down the Turquoise Trail and spent the afternoon in Madrid. Highly recommend. We left a day early to travel to Taos but the early departure had nothing to do with this campground. Would definitely stay again.

Tips - While we enjoyed the Z-1 location and appointments, we would suggest staying on the north side of the resort; the morning traffic was a little bothersome.
Favorites - Location, location, location. Super close to downtown Santa Fe, the opera, and a great jumping off point for Madrid, Ski Santa Fe, and the north I-25 environs of Pecos and Glorieta. Super sunsets, views, and dark skies for star gazing. Super long and wide sites with concrete patios. Quirky art work, south western motif, cleanest dog park I've ever seen. Great displays of old farm and road equipment. Probably one of the nicest sites we've stayed in in two years of full time RVing. The staff A++++
Negatives - Morning noise right off the main resort road. No pool or playground for the littles. No recycle bin at the dumpster station. Probably need a booster if you are a Verizon customer. WiFi could use a little upgrading to accommodate for the bandwidth load.

Gravel site with concrete patio on a easy back on site. Beautiful campground. Great view all around. Good water, electric, WiFi, laundry a little high. Location to Santa Fe also good.

Arrived with no reservation after an 8 hour day/drive from Fort Stockton and Elizabeth booked me in an overflow spot with electric only ($40)and then a move to another overflow spot behind the restaurant… ($62)being unannounced, I was happy. I need to get a Good Sam club membership, though, would have saved 10%.

Location is just outside of Santa Fe but only a short direct drive into town making it very quiet. The only noise we experienced were fellow RV'ers coming and going. I would highly recommend this campground while in Santa Fe.
