Nice campsite, they were working on some upgrades, but definitely a good place to stay for a night or two. Surprisingly emptyish. Worth the extra trip off of 90. Very quiet, no road noise.

We stopped here ón our way to SD WY and MT. It was a Friday night in May.
We had the whole place to ourselves. It was quite windy but certain spots were blocked from the wind pretty good. They have 2 porta potties which seemed clean, a pavilion and an observation tower to observe the many birds that hang around there. It was cool to see and hear many different kinds of birds. There is a boat ramp and a large lake. I believe there is no swimming.
The area seemed clean and well taken care of. There were 12 spots I believe, all of which were along the lake up on a hill. Some spots were more level than others. Our spot was level.
Plenty of kindling and or firewood if you go scrounging around.
Only bad thing was a car raced through in the middle of the night but didn't stick around.
We would definitely recommend this spot as a place to spend a couple days or just a night while passing through.
By the way, beautiful sunrise over the lake if you get up early enough.
We had AT&T cell service but I can't remember bars, maybe 2 or 3.

Great spot! Very clean and very quiet with only 1 RV in front. Had to drive about 1.5 miles down a gravel road to get there but my little Honda Civic made it just fine. Plenty of room for our tent and very well maintained picnic bench and fire pit with a grill all at the site. Would love to go back!

We were so amazed at this campground. We were the only people there. The sounds and sights of the wildlife are spectacular, ducks, birds, and geese this would make a great spot for a family reunion. The grass is soft, lush, the lots are freshly graveled, very well maintained

We arrived on Sunday the week of July 4th. Surprised to find we were the only campers. The park was clean, quiet, and we felt safe so we stayed a couple of days. On Monday a crew of maintenance people arrived and worked on the road, pressure washed the community building, and did some lawn maintenance. The sign said $25.00 for full hookups but no sites had anything but electric. There was 2 places to get water but no dump station.

Stayed one night here on our way from Iowa to South Dakota. It's about 8 miles north of i90 but was worth the drive. Quiet, fairly well maintained and worth the price to have a safe quiet place to stay. We had considered boondocking but it was 90° and we wanted to run the AC.
