Sandy Cove Campground

Let me start with the good things about the camp area. Camp Host was very nice and helpful. Spots were paved and fairly level. We had Site 7 it was very shady and big, enough space for two vehicles and an extra tent, minimal stickers, could be a 50 amp if needed but we only needed 30 amp. Good for a family group spot with the other two sites. Walking distance to the beach and bathrooms. Bathrooms are clean. Clean sandy beach and the lake is one of the cleanest we have been too. Showers were free.

The Bad
Water Hook-up is bad. 1 water hook-up for the 3 sites. You have to have to bring a very long hose and run it across the driveway. Parking the trailer was basically a jack knife situation. We lost power the second night for about an hour. We were told it was because everyone was using there trailer showers and the hot water heaters were putting a big draw on the power. If you like taking freezing cold showers then you wont mind the public shower situation.
