I camped here one night on 6-9-23 in pull-through site #14. Check-in is 3PM and you go straight to your site. Single loop with a paved road though sites are grass or gravel. Site 14 was entirely curved with a downslope to the driver's side. Curiously many if not most of the sites were set up with the picnic table, fire ring on the driver's side and in our case, water & electric on the passenger side. Many sites were more suited for tents or small trailers/pop-ups & trucks but one of the back-in sites just as you entered had a skoolie (for 2 months). The remainder of the sites had weekend campers, no one living there that I could tell as the prior reviewer mentioned. There was a host site but no sign of them. We visited the area to tour the Johnson Company campus and FL Wright buildings (great tour!) less than 15 minutes away. The only other amenities were a shower house, dumpster, small playground, walking trails, and very large field surrounded by trees. There is some traffic noise at the sites on the west end but otherwise pretty serene. T-Mobile had very good speeds (about 200 & 20) but AT&T & Verizon were slower (40 & 20 I believe).
No dump here but the Cliffside Dump Station is 12 miles away and free for campers.
Oh, the rate - it is $35/night but there is a $12 reservation fee (!) plus tax bringing it up to $49.35.

But there weren’t enough trees in the center section. And shade is definitely needed.
We also noticed that there wasn’t a ton to do within easy walking distance. We had to get in the car and explore.
That being said, the prices are excellent and the facilities were very good.
Note that there were a few people who seemed to be living in the campground. One of whom lived in a pop up without any canvas. That might be off putting to some. Everyone was nice though.

What a great place to enjoy Racine and nearby spots. Great park for showers, electricity and some water connections. We loved this campsite and area. The police will come by in the morning and close up at night. Can also easily get to Milwakee on freeway. The other county park has 92 spots but covered with big RVs. This is small and as nice
