Sand Springs is a flat open area with no designated sites. No facilities, no pit toilets, no fire rings. Brush is cleared in this area to probably prevent fire risk. There is a Sand Springs campground sign but that's it. Great view of the stars here. Fields and trees surround this camp site.
about a 15 mile dirt road drive to get here. Sites are flat for tents. Bring water to this site. Lots of open range and cattle on the way to the site.
