Overall Rating
Great place to easily get into with a big rig or anything towing. This seemed like the best place for riders to go to and stay if that is what you are looking for! Camp is right next to all the large sand dunes and play area.

When we visited Little Sahara at the end of October we camped at White Sands (https://www.campendium.com/white-sands-campground), as far as possible from Sand Mountain. If you're into OHV riding, the party scene here has to be seen to be believed. On holiday weekends 10,000 to 30,000 people gather here.
If you're not into OHVs, this place is very loud and very busy.
People dispersed camp off three paved loops. ATVs and dirt bikes are literally everywhere because of the 700-foot hill climb up Sand Mountain. They even have a "vendor row" with merchandise and food for sale out of trailers. For those in need of cell service, there's a small low-range transmitter on site that gave us 4-5 bars of Verizon 4G.
As non-OHV riders, we were much happier at White Sands.
