Views of the valley were excellent, though it was very windy when we were there.
Cell service on ATT and TMobile was good, with 48mbps down/40 up and 41/6 respectively with a roof mounted Pepwave antenna.

A storm was coming in when we arrived, so it was extremely windy, like 50-60mph gusts all night long. The storm cleared out and the next morning, it was still so windy that the sand in the air was reducing visibility. It was very unpleasant and I thought we were going to have to leave early. Then, it just stopped and was calm the rest of our stay. So, we got to enjoy the beach and beautiful views. They did charge us for our Jeep, which I asked for clarification because the website says that in that particular campground, only excess of 5 vehicles will be charged extra, but they still charged me extra for the 1.

We originally picked site 7, but the woman at the entrance informed us of construction and recommended 23 instead. I’m glad she did! We were up on the hill with a great view and it was very private. Our site hookups all worked perfectly and we had no problem getting level. My only complaint is that they close the gates at 9pm and you have to be back by then. This is a bit inconvenient. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again!

Great spot for RVs. Lots of space between you and the neighbors. Large park but doesn’t feel like it’s crowded. Access to swimming area. Friendly staff.

There are no trash cans throughout the park so you have to actually drive to dump your trash.
The heat was unbearable and it was windy making it impossible to sit outside and enjoy the view.
The Reservoir has swimmers itch throughout different areas therefore it was difficult to know where to swim and enjoy the water.
There is not much to do therefore I would recommend Quail Creek which has a small Beachfront accessible with water.
If you have dogs do not visit in the summer time as it will be very difficult to walk your dog, too hot and hot asphalt.

The campground has nice facilities but there is virtually no shade. Beware of the water! We got what’s called “swimmers’s itch” from the reservoir which is some kind of parasite that makes your whole body itch. Also, the off road vehicles are everywhere and there is no shortage of right-wing political flags hanging from every campsite.

I wouldn't try to kayak or sup in the reservoir as it's busy with motorboats and jet skis. It can be noisy with ATVs and motorboats so I only gave it three stars on noise. It wasn't an issue for me but some might find the noise bothersome.
I had three bars of AT&T LTE but it was enough to stream without jitters.

This is a big riders location and bikes, quads, side by sides can be heard at all hours. The park closes at night and you have to be in before that time or you will be locked out. Overall we had a nice time and would go back again. This is a cool location when the other areas are still covered in snow. The lake is pretty and has good fishing. About 45 minutes away from Zion and about the same for snow canyon. Both worth checking out. Att had good phone service.
