Overall Rating
BLM rangers check this area. Anything more than overnight is not ok . They state day use only. Great water feature . River was flowing in December. Traffic is loud during the day.

LOTS of highway Traffic didn’t die down until after 10 PM FIVE vehicles and two loud motorcycles come into the parking lot throughout the night at all hours the last one at three or 4 AM👎👎👎 To talk party get high etc. two people came at midnight with flashlights and went into the woods🤷♀️ Other than that no problems. Other than that no problems.
Nice green sycamores and small river. Really great trails especially across the street is a historical site with a 2 1/2 mile Trail to an old mining town and petroglyphs👍👍👍

Just a gravel lot. Probably okay for an overnight but it does get some traffic for hiking and the river so maybe not a good choice for a longer stay. Tent campers could find spots walking from the lot but there’s no way to drive a rig past the lot. Didn’t see any signage for camping so it’s probably okay. Just checked it out wh... more
