Water and electric at most spots with a good dump station to use on your way out. The pit toilets are the only down fall, old and needing replaced...It's very quiet here with no screaming kids mid-week, off season.
Lots of paved trails for walking or bike riding. We enjoyed the Mexican Market in nearby Santa Nella. There is a super great "Romero Visitor Center" up the road west on Hwy 152...
Zero cell service for me ( Verizon )

Stayed here as a warmup before starting a long trip. Conveniently located just far enough from the Bay Area to be good for that purpose, the downside is there doesn't seem to be too much to do without a bit of driving. We stayed in mid-February and it was very cold, and on a few of the days was extremely windy - far too windy to be comfortably outdoors.
The site itself was fine, level with water and power that worked without issue, and an extremely convenient dump station. Very clean and easy to get to. But we were a bit tight next to our neighbors, and that seemed like the case for at least half the spots. Folks were pretty quiet but given the season and the weather, no surprise.
I'll stay again for a night tops when passing through but it's not a great place if you're looking for a real vacation spot.

This place can get blazing hot, brown and not very pleasant later in the season. At least there are electric and water hookups. Lots of trees in the actual campground , very little trees elsewhere, just a few dotting the shoreline...
We were told that this camp can turn into party central so choose wisely when you visit. Very dark & quiet at night. After dark you can barely hear the droning of the Interstate 5 off in the distant, about 5 miles away...
No showers, and only beat up old pit toilets. Little to none cell coverage. Day use in immediate area creates a little extra traffic. Super nice host. Come! Enjoy early Springtime, mid week...

Was impressed by the amenities. Dump station with black water flush and separate drinking water fill up station. Nice paved bike/walking trail along the water that takes you to the boat ramp and swimming day use area. Nice restrooms and covered picnic areas. Would definitely come back.

The sites are pretty unique, with unobstructed views of huge rolling hills and, of course, the waterfront. Camp spaces are roomy and well-spaced. Hookups are good and the dump station on-site is quite convenient. Being not-very-crowded, it's a generally quiet place during the day. In the evening and until mid-morning, winds are very gusty, with the area delightfully dubbed “Gustine”. The winds make this a really unique experience and may rock you and your family to sleep. Cellular access is spotty, but this is a good thing when your goal is to unplug.

Stayed in January so def off season but beautiful calm setting for a weekend away from the city. Pit toilets needed maintenance, cleaning and emptying but other than that the campgrounds and day use were clean and well taken care of. Verizon coverage good enough to stream content.

We have driven by this location many times but did not know what this campground looked like. One trip we decided to scout it. The campground is around 2 miles off CA152. The campsites have good spacing between them. They are not long enough to stay hooked up. Some are double spots where you would be parked right next to the other RV. The park is very quiet and close to fishing if you are interested. It is within 10 miles of Los Banos if you need supplies. The sites have power and water, alas the water stopped working while we were there. The camp hosts stopped by and apologized for the mess in the campground. They said that the state parks wanted to open the campground early.
We did like it but might try the other dry campground that is up on the hill next time.
