Also, the unpleasant toilet smell radiates out a ways. There are better options in the area.

Our class a w/ trailer did great getting into this nice big parking lot. April weather was mild and payment clear. Far enough from road that was quiet expect for distant train noises. We had place to ourselves on a Sunday night.
Not sure what area is like with snow, but great in warmer weather.

We were here on a Friday night/Saturday morning and things seemed to get pretty busy in the AM. Also a train runs nearby.
We had no cell service on ATT or Verizon.

The Sno-park is located less than 1/2 mile off of the highway but is surrounded by trees to help keep the highway noise to a minimum. Take the first left off the main road (NF-5893) and cross a small bridge. The Sno-park, on the right, is a small, paved parking area with vault toilets located in the middle. You can park anywhere, but the outside edges of the parking seem to be a natural location to park. No one else was there during our October stay and there are no signs telling you how long of a stay. I'm assuming a 14 day maximum though. There are no trees lining the SW end of the parking area so the views are a little better. The road in is also paved and large rigs can easily maneuver the roads and bridge.
You can drive 1/2 mile to the Salt Creek Falls visitors area, or take a short walk as we did, to see Salt Creek Falls. The overlook is nice and there are bathrooms and information signs telling about the falls and its geography. You can also take a steep hike down to the base of the falls for a more direct view of the 2nd tallest waterfall in Oregon. Part of the trail had been damaged due to a rock slide but the trail was passable.
As I said, nothing fancy, just a parking lot, but it was relatively quiet and easy access off highway 58.

We actually stayed in the paved lot, because we are a 40 ft DP & didn’t really feel like we fit in the first place. And it was raining a lot, but it was beautiful & quiet, there are several places back along the road for either small TT or class Bs, but no way we driving “our beast” down there. Unfortunately we didn’t have time on Saturday to hike the falls, but we’ll be back. Such a gorgeous area. We actually unhooked in the falls parking lot & took toad scouting, but as previously mentioned if you take the 1st left & go across bridge you won’t have to unhook until you reach the sno-park parking lot.

Salt Creek Falls is on the same turn-off and has bathrooms with flushing toilets and sinks, but you need a pass (your NP access pass will do).
It's a very quiet spot. I've camped here twice and haven't seen anyone.
To get here from Hwy 58 (Willamette Hwy), take the Salt Creek Falls turn-off (there's a sign). At the first Y, take a left (right will take you to Salt Creek Falls). When you get to the Sno-Park, take another left. I don't know how many spots there are down this road, I've only camped in the first spot on the left. I was able to get level enough without levelers (I'm 22').
I love that from this spot there are bathrooms as close as any campground.
