This is a lovely location in general. The spots are basically a big, paved, parking lot at the marina. There is now a dump station ($10) and free potable water at the end of the peninsula.

We camped here from May 23 to May 29 2021 and had a great time. We stayed here because we are avid ATVers and love the dunes of Winchester bay. We opted for the biggest site on the C dock which the price had just gone up to 30.00 a night as summer time rates have begun. The weather was very windy with gusts up to 30 MPH at times and sustained winds during the day at around 20 MPH which made sitting outside pretty cold even when it is sunny
The camp itself is a paved parking lot with really clean bathrooms and showers. Shower was 1.00 per 4 minutes with great pressure. I opted for the 8 minute $2.00 relaxing shower and my Wife the $3.00 12 minute shower as she has really long hair. The rest of the time we showered in the camper and like normal we just ran out of water the morning we were leaving. There is a place to fill up with water by the main boat launch and there is a place to dump in Reedsport which is 5 miles away at the intersection of hwy 101 and 38.
We dumped and filled with water in Reedsport as it was only $5.00 on the honor system and is easy to access. There are a lot of great restaurant's in the area which caused us to eat out allot! I would recommend this place as the RV resort across the bay is $77.00 a night just for full hookups and the marina was very quiet at night and we had no safety concerns.
The Camp Hosts were there as we were setting up and gave us great information about the area and we met a awesome couple and their son while we stayed there. We have ATT(Cricket) for both wifi and phone and had no problem streaming TV after we activated our signal booster.

It is a parking lot but you are right in the harbor. Lots of waterfront sites. No frills.
Great cell service on att and Verizon.
Short drive to town.

I saw this on campendium and since it was first come first served I assumed we wouldn’t have a chance on the 4th of July. I was surprised to see about 15 sites available! We had already set up down the road or we would have gladly stayed here. The point of my review is that there are a ton of sites here.

Each has a table and fire grate for cooking. Very level sites. Toilets are clean and one block has pay showers at $1 for 4 minutes. Town is about 1 mile walk for cafes and a mini mart and bars. It must get really busy in summer. There are 138 sites here, we were 1 of about 6 staying in early May. Very tidy, right by the water and boat ramp to watch the fisherman. Dunes are just down the road about 4 miles and you can hire ATV in town.
There is a camp host on site. Stayed in a 31 foot class c.

Unique dry camping on a marina dock. The views were incredible, there was ample walking nearby and we had some breathtaking sunsets.. and of course, it’s walking distance to Umpqua River Lighthouse.
