Sagebrush RV Park

We were able to call around 4 pm and they had plenty of space available for that night. Mary & her husband even saw us pull in at 8 pm and still greeted us and showed us to our site.

There are a lot of mobile homes, and it’s a flat gravel pad for the RV sites, but for $30/night we got full 30-amp hookups and a nice level site where we didn’t even have to unhook our truck.

You can hear the train, but it wasn’t too loud and it never blew its horn near the park. Besides that it is a very quiet area.

Management was very friendly and it worked wonderfully for a last second stay while headed to our final destination. We would definitely stay here again!

The RV park was easy to find using our Garmin and Google maps. We arrived just after noon on Sunday. Our hosts were not present, but they had a note on the office door with a phone number. I called the phone number, and she directed me to my assigned spot.

This is a minimalistic RV parking, gravel parking lot with electricity, sewer, and water hookups. There is NO shade, but the heat was not an issue since we were there during late October. The sites are relatively close to each other, but since it was not a busy time, no problem. Each site has a small round picnic-type table, but again no shade.

Residents surround the RV parking with trailers and RVs that look like they have been there for a while. It was very quiet. A train goes by off/on throughout the day; some may find that bothersome, but it is not close. Did not bother us at all.

The parking was level. Quick to find the sweet spot.

The office is where the showers, restrooms, a small den area, and laundry. Two showers without sinks, and one is handicapped accessible. Two bathrooms with large sinks. The facilities were pristine, with no mold, no mildew odor, etc.

We used this spot as a base to hike the Chiricahua National Monument and the surrounding area, drove to Bisbee and spent a day there,

Mainly mobile home sites, center gravel area for RV, train tracks nearby little bit noisy. Restroom and shower locked at 8:30pm, no posted notice say so and manager didn’t mention this when met earlier. Manager didn’t want to help unlock the shower even though she lives right next to it. I have a camper with no shower so had to sleep the night with sweats and dust from day hikes.

A perfect place to stay while birding SE Arizona. Centrally located in Willcox, nice gravel spots surrounded by mobile homes on the south end of town with easy highway access. Very quiet except for the frequent trains across Haskell Ave.

Fabulous service! Pat met us & got us set up, even though we were delayed by bad weather through CO & NM, arriving at 9:30pm. We were able to get level & get to sleep within an hour. We were given a key to the Rec Center to use bathrooms & showers if we needed them.

Full hookups & free WiFi. Woke up to a Curved-billed Thrasher singing next to our RV, wonderful! Paid $154 for the week with the Good Sam discount.

Cindy was very sweet. I wasn't sure what time I was gonna get here so she said to call her when I arrived and she would meet me at the office. She showed me to our spot. The electric is low to the ground so no chance of hitting it with a slide. Gravel sites are very level. I didn't need to put down my jacks. Nice and quiet with several manufactured homes here. Very clean.

The park is in the historic part of town. It is in a mobile home park but it is maintained. Cindy, the manager, is very helpful & friendly. It is easy in & out with little road noise. Lots of trains but no train whistles. The park is close to all of the areas points of interest. If you are looking to "wet your whistle" checkout Joe's Pub, just some more of the friendly locals.
