I reached out to the Chamber of Commerce through email and this was their reply as of April, 2024.
“There is no longer a grass lot by Safety Mart as the new entrance / exit from the highway will go right through there. We do however have an RV park at Mill Park, run by the Lions if that helps.”

We stayed here on our way to Golden on our way home from Alaska.The site was fairly level and can accommodate any size rig. The little Mall has a nice grocery store, laundromat, a Subway and a very nice pub called The Silver Fox. We had dinner at the pub and it was very good. We stayed here on our way to Golden on our way home from Alaska.The site was fairly level and can accommodate any size rig. The little Mall has a nice grocery store, laundromat, a Subway and a very nice pub called The Silver Fox. We had dinner at the pub and it was very good. The owner, Keith, couldn’t have been a nicer guy. He treated us like part of the family. He struck up a conversation with us about our RV and even though we don’t drink, invited us to spend the evening and just hang out and relax.

We found out about this site from the visitor's center in Chase BC. We enjoyed a very pleasant evening and then left the next morning to continue our trip. We found out about this site from the visitor's center in Chase BC. We enjoyed a very pleasant evening and then left the next morning to continue our trip. It was a pleasant surprise to find a free spot to camp for the night.
The site is a grassy field just across from the Safety Mart Foods market. We arrived around 4PM and there was already one RV camped out and another one that seemed like it had been there a while. The site is next to the freeway but the noise was not too bad. Within the shopping area there is a subway restaurant as well as a laundromat. This is a dry campsite with no services. The Safety Mart Foods market has everything you would need and they were very nice. Everything closes down early so that gave us a nice quiet evening.
There is also a wonderful used book store just down the block from the market if you need something to read.
