We stayed two weeks and enjoyed our visit. We had a huge group of non campers come one Saturday evening and made a lot of noise. Camp host not available and too late to call rangers. A bit disconcerting, but they left at sunset.

Campground 1 for Great Lake views. Campground 2 for woods. No campsites are secluded, typically spaced. Campground bathrooms were very clean (and have a/c).

Sadlers Creek was our first state park experience which ended up being a great introduction to camping at state parks. The park itself is heavily wooded with views of the lake. Nice playgrounds, disc golf course, nature walks and pavilions if you needed one. We stayed on loop 1 site 1 which after driving the other loops, loop one is our favorite due to it being less wooded and having more open views of the lake. We brought our kayaks and were able to put in at our site without utilizing the boat ramp. They’re gravel sites with nice picnic tables and a fire ring. AT&T service was good. Electric and water hookups. Dump station available. The bathhouse was clean but anyone can walk in on you taking a shower with only a curtain between you and strangers in an open room. We elected to use our RV shower because of that. There was also no soap in the mens bathroom the two nights, three days we were there.
All in all, it’s a beautiful park and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

My doggies and I had a great fall stay at Sadler Creek State Park. Although the weekends were full, the weekdays cleared out making for a peaceful relaxing experience on Lake Hartwell. Our site was on the banks of the clear waters and the bike trail provided easy exploring. 4 out of 5 stars due to the sites closeness to one another.

We could walk to the playground which was great for the down time between swimming/games and eating. The staff was great too! We want to try out site 61 next time!

The hiking/mountain biking trails are great and well maintained.

Spent a weekend here in November. Campground had been taken over by marathon runners, but our loop was nearly deserted.
Sites are spread out pretty well- better than a lot of SC parks. Pads are just barely big enough, though. I'd also be skeptical about their slopes. That we got through the weekend without rolling our trailer into the lake is a win.
Aside from check-in, we didn't have any interactions with staff.
Bathhouse was clean and well maintained. I think it was heated.
I'd go again.

We came down for a quick weekend with the kayaks. Our site didn’t disappoint with direct access to the lake. Bath house was reasonably clean and our neighbors weren’t too close. There a bunch of bike trails too. It’s worth the stop if you are in the area.

Nice park, clean and quite. It's all Red clay dirt, so don’t bring clothes you want to keep. The site’s are pretty close together. The lake was clean. We had to go to the other side of the cove to swim. We had a steep hill to go down at the campsite. All and all it was a fun campground.
