Called ahead to see if I could fill up my fresh tank. Gentlemen said to come on by. Place was pretty easy to find. About 3 miles off I-10. Only charged me $.10 a gallon which came out to around $5 for my rig. Dump station was also operational but I only needed water at the time.

Quirky guy Dave will let you fill your tank here before you got to Saddle Mountain Dispersed Camping. Dump station was down when we stopped by but he said he was fixing it by Monday.

As of the first week of February, 2020: DO NOT type the street address into Google Maps, use the GPS coordinates in the Campendium header. Turn in at the driveway by the Saddle Vista Ranch sign. Drive straight back and stop beside the small nursery and feed store. The cost for water and dump depends on the size of your rig. For a fee, there is trash disposal. In the little feed store, we also bought fly paper and fresh duck eggs. As another reviewer commented, you can use the ranch address for packages - make arrangements with the owner - at no cost.
The owner is a nice guy, Dave, who is just trying to spread some good karma and make a buck here and there. Unfortunately, the giant, industrial egg farm, Hickman's, is immediately behind his property. Dave showed us the tiny house he is building for himself and invited us to pick up and pet the baby ducks and chicks under the incubator. This is the kind of small business we love to happen upon and support.

“Easy dump and water station”

This place is very convenient when one stays on the BLM at Saddle Mountain. The owner is pleasant and the rates are very reasonable. Look for his tortoises. We also saw bunnies. As enjoyable an experience as RV dumping can be.

Access (to here and the BLM) coming from the west on I-10, Google Maps told me to get off at exit 81. Just at the left turn onto W Salome the sign said "paved road ends". I wasn't into that so I went to the next exit 94. After turning south on 411th Ave, Google Maps keep telling me to turn onto completely unmarked dirt roads to nowhere. I continued to W Salome, hung a right and saw the sign for the ranch on the right but no sign of RVs or dump, etc. I had enough water for my overnight at the BLM so on the return the next morning I turned at the sign and headed down the dirt driveway. Dave waved me in and showed me where to turn for the dump station (first right and first left in the back) and then loop back to the driveway for a freshwater fill (hose in the garden). He was flexible about the water price, basing it on the amount of water. We landed on $5 for about 20 gallons. He reminded me of his other services - laundry, receive shipments, and who knows what else. I'm sure he'd try to help out however he could if you needed something.
