Stayed a weekend here. Nice big spots, trash cans and port-a potties throughout. Views of the city Full-hookups Sounds of freedom 🇺🇸

There was a barrier across the entrance, before the meadow. No place to camp/overnight near 726/Hwy 30. Fortunately, you can continue down Hwy 30 for about 6 miles back to the interstate, or under the interstate to Vedauwoo. Would have explored to find a spot, but it was pretty foggy and visibility was 100-200 feet, so hard to see anything.

Still closed for the season. As there was heavy fog when we pulled in, and it was dark, we decided to spend the night in the overflow lot. Unfortunately, someone else had parked in a way that blocked access, but we were able to fit next to the road to the overflow lot, snugged up against the fence. Walked thru the campground, which is nice,...

We just need a safe and convenient spot to park so we could go to a Jason Isbell concert. This fit the bill perfectly. It’s not pretty, you park too close to the neighbors, many appear to be full timers, but full hookups, and very friendly staff. Not a destination stay but close to the action.

Very good site. Rainey weekend but still a bad day of camping is still better than a good day at work.
