Is Sacramento Pass Recreation Area suitable for equestrian use?

Yes, there are three sites up a dirt road from the main campground. It has it's own vault toilets and a corral. I think it's prettier and quieter than the main campground.

YES! You drive past pond and go up dirt road. It is actually designed for horses. All free. It can be cold

Yes it is when you enter the campground continue further up the road and to the right. There is a designated equestrian area

In addition, there are places to camp and an outhouse. There is also a four mile riding-hiking trail that takes off from the east end of the area.

Yes it is. There is a horse corral at the upper part of the campground.
