Not meant for RV’s!!! NARROW 5 miles of dirt road in mountains. Ideal for tent camping or off-road vehicles.
Managed by forestry service and a 4 wheeler group.

This campground is the perfect place to stay if you’re doing the Kentucky Adventure Tour. It was mostly empty and the vault toilets were reasonably clean. Lots of single (and a few double) tent sites with pea gravel pads, fire pits, and picnic tables. Saw several shorter campers and teardrops. The road going in is long and gravel.

GPS brought me in from the west, won’t do that again. Perfect, middle-of-nowhere, camping. One Class A parked at the entrance (wouldn’t fit in a site or be able to make campground road turns) and one car camper arrived quietly at 21:30. Otherwise, all to myself. ATT 1-2 bars.

The sites are all level gravel with picnic table and fire ring. There are two camping areas, one branch has 10 sites and the other looks to have 5 or 6. The area is also set up for ORV’s so you will hear the machines from time to time but nothing obnoxious or reason not to camp there. Great place to camp!

I was actually surprised to find that this was so nice! It’s pretty deep into the forest, but along the way there were signs for the campground so that made me more confident that it was there. I came to find pretty well spaced out, large flat sites with outhouse biodegrade toilets and an info board. I was renting, and the gravel made it a little difficult to hammer in my stakes, but overall it was a lovely campground, but pretty deep into the forest. I wish I stayed longer to make the drive feel worth it

Free National forest camping with clean pit toilets and 2 bars at&t LTE. Oh and it’s completely empty. I would not recommend large trailers or RVs but I have no experience with them. 10/10 would stop again.
