Great overnight spot with 50 amp service. RV park is behind the truck lot so pick a spot on the far end to avoid any noise. Shuttle to and from the casino with restaurants and gaming. Fuel was reasonably priced too. Will stay here again.

We're often looking for an overnighter in this neck of the woods and decided to try this Casino RV Park. Its $46 in the quiet Rv section ( where we stayed) or $10 in the semi-truck parking lot ( very noisy truck traffic).
Check in is at the gas station mini-mart. All the sites are about equal, long gravel pull thru's. Some have a tree but mostly just shrubs.
I would say you need to be self contained here. There is a Clubhouse ( a few minutes walk away ) where you can use the toilet for free but $15 for a shower. Security occasionally drives thru the Rv Park making sure everything is nice and secure.
We enjoyed dinner and breakfast the next morning at the restaurants inside the Casino. We would stay again.

Pros
Fair price. Easy access from freeway. reasonable level pull throughs. This time the gas station had the best price. If you want, you can park in the lot for like $10 a night.
Cons
Windy, Windy, Windy. The check-in was moved a couple of years ago to the gas station and it is slow, cumbersome, and like being in the middle of chaos.

We just needed a quick, safe stop over with full hookups between 2 long days of driving and this was perfect. It was very quiet - which amazed me since it's a truck stop and casino. The rv park is in the back near the golf course and all sites were very flat and long and wide. All hookups worked with ease. There was a nice little loop on a gravel road to walk my dog, trash bins at every site and so easy to get in, out and gas up before hitting the road again. Check in is at the truck stop and all the staff were very kind and quick to get us checked in. It's very clean and I felt very safe staying here. Note that there is no free shower. We normally take advantage of the bath houses because our camper shower is teeny and the hot water heater is even smaller but for this campsite, you use the trucker's shower/restrooms and I believe a shower is $15 -we made do with our own for this stop. Gas/diesel prices here were the lowest on this leg of the trip too.

A really nice spot right off the freeway and surprising service. Make a reservation online or ask for the web pricing. It’s a little bit lower than the $40 rack rate. The sites are clean and level, not a whole lot of shade (better in the winter than in the summer because this area gets really hot). Full services. The 30 amp was not emitting any juice so I used my 50 amp converter. But one of the niftiest amenities is that they have an auto texting system that connects you directly with a service representative when you check in. I texted about the 30 amp and they texted that they could get facilities on site within a few minutes if I needed it. I’ll let them know that I was using the 50A converter and it wasn’t necessary. Never had a texting concierge before.
The downside: they are doing some thing with construction going on virtually 24 hours a day near the site. It’s not entirely terribly loud it is somewhat annoying late at night or early in the morning. All said we certainly would stay again.

Not much greenery or scenery but we were just here to hook up air conditioning in the 106 degree weather! We did do some gambling in the casino. Won enough to pay for dinner. Had beers and great sandwiches at Rock and Brew restaurant . Would stay again for hookups at a great price.

There is a lot of places to explore while here so a couple days isn't out of the question. Just be aware that they moved the check in to the Chevron Station, we pulled up to our usual check in spot and were re-directed. Also, you used to be able to just drive into the park and pick any open space, but now they assign you a spot. Internet is limited and they print that, so don't expect to stream video, but if you are driving down I-5, you can't beat this place if in the area!
It has 5G, 2 bar Verizon service, but the wifi is slow, no matter what you do

Good for a boondocking break. Great food, “decent casino,” easy I-5 access, a couple of nice amenities, low-key north valley spot; but, it’s a “just” a basic 50amp RV park, yet it is nicely, casually tucked away from the more urban spots in the area. Many spots have hook ups that are not well-placed for some rigs, so scope spots out first. Do be advised that the wind gusts can be pretty strong through this area, so if your RV has loose gadgets around, loose things of your RV roof, or satellite equipment, etc. that you may lose to the wind. ... Call ahead for weather, such as excessive wind, plus inquire ahead of time, for their COVID and amenities up to date statuses. ... ... One aspect that I really like is the RV park lighting. It’s very low and dim lighting, which feels relaxing and doesn’t require my extra window shades at night, like most casino stops do. It’s pretty dark here, especially for a casino RV park, so you’ll have a chance to show off your fancy exterior lighting toys, for everyone. This would actually be very creepy, but since it’s casino security, I suppose that I’m comfortable with the less intense lower park lighting. I don’t know how much of their RV park is covered by their casino lot cameras, so you may want to ask security on updates about cameras, if you plan to carry around in the dark wads of casino winnings on your person and in your rig. ... ... More thoughts: Concrete one-lane, ever so slightly bumpy roads around the place, with fairly level gravel spaces. ... ... Garbage cans sporadically provided. ... ... Unless you like being right in the middle of everyone, spot # 68 is an example of a good balance of privacy with (not much, but some) vegetation, outside of the middle and plenty of room for an extra car, or two — with ample space and not on the very outer edge, which can get more wind gusts, more direct sun, out in the open fully without cover, etc. but even more privacy. ... ... Easy check in signage with RV check in at their gas station. Be aware that they won’t take your virtual, phone number, nor printed out Good Sam card for the RV park discount. You need your physical Good Sam card, for the discount. Truck stops can take just the number, so I don’t know why they don’t. I would not suggest paying the normal rack rate, if you have Good Sam. It’s not special enough here to lose that Good Sam discount and be as happy, in my opinion. ... There’s boondocking for free overnight in the loud semi-truck area, if you don’t want hook ups, but the free boondocking option here has its own limiting property rules — plus, its own listing spot and review section/marker. ... ... be prepared for somewhat temperate winter months, but very hot in summer months — and always be prepared for heavy wind gusts through here. ... views of both east and west mountains. ... but, this park needs trees. Hook up selection on both sides would be helpful. ... ... Security is helpful and somewhat present, but not that bothersome, presuming that you’re paid-up. ... Security “situation” in the free RV boondocking truck area is a different story. Make sure you obey their free boondocking rules, and as stated, their free RV lot option has its *own* listing and reviews on most RVer and camping apps. ... this particular review here is for the RV park paid section. ... Essentially, it’s well-maintained, but nothing extra special. Nothing about the RV park jumps out as a “vacation resort,” yet nothing made me go running away screaming, either. ... If you like to go golfing that’s available here, but I didn’t play the course. ... ... Try to safely border some bushes, or trees to break the wind and gain some privacy. ... I’ll refrain from a full review of the casino, but it’s really “not that bad,” for a low-key spot and the food is better than most casinos. We signed up for players card and won some free meals and our RV park fees back with just the new player member comp plays. I would have liked to see a full service coffee shop. That would be nice for the mornings. ... ... Anyway, it is not the best of scenery; however, that’s just the nature of this region and “good scenery” is subjective, of course. ... ... To wrap this up, it is a safe bet for easy access boondock off of I-5, with both options of a paid RV park, or the free overnight stay next to the OTR long hauler lot. ... ... Big RVers: plan for any of your major shopping and your truck stops needs, which are slightly to north, or south from here on I-5. Generally, plan for big box stores in other towns first. Not much here, but seemingly safe and convenient. ... Other Notes: Park WiFi was totally non-existent, but my Verizon signal [their Visible-branded newer data service] with personal hotspot had an excellent signal for multiple simultaneous TVs and devices. When you check in, do be sure to ask about their up to date WiFi deployment status/coverage, if that’s important to you. ... ... Important: I highly recommend doing a walk-through of the place before you drive in with a large rig to pick a spot. Not all spots are suitable for all rigs and personal space desires/moods/needs; the park lacks overall uniformity, in this and other respects, so don’t randomly just guess here about spots to reserve, if possible. Don’t rely on the drawn map at the station when you’re picking a spot, unless you have a pretty small rig and want to just guess what it’s all set up like. ... ... Incidentally, during the right times of year, I really enjoy both RV boondocking and tent camping in this overall general region; therefore, I suggest checking out those myriad options before coming here; but, when wanting a break with a couple of basic amenities and 50amp hook ups, you could do a lot worse. ... ... Lastly, keep in mind that this is a casino RV park, so even though this particular RV park is not Disneyland, they do treat their guests very well, in my experience. ... ... one other issue to take note of: the park included a wide range of apparent conditions of the RVs. It’s not a rich person-only RV park, apparently. As such, it is basically an “approachable” RV park that offers a little break from boondocking and also maybe a little casino luck, but with enough security to keep it from becoming really sketchy. Not what I’d call a “destination resort.” It is what it is. What you see is what you get type of place. ... ... Nobody bothered me here, but most people were still friendly-enough, it was convenient location and it served its intended purposes — plus, I got lucky in the casino. ... As an aside, both the sunsets and sunrises can be pretty cool when positioned in this particular part of the north valley. Depending upon your rig’s shape, the spot # you find and (mostly importantly) specific times of year, this RV park’s elevation and location requires very little climate control, if you’re a snowbird. ... As far as I-5 goes, the noise is “somewhat minimal,” as the park is set back from the road more than the rest of property. If your rig is in good shape and windows closed, you shouldn’t hear I-5. I slept with a couple windows open and didn’t really notice it too much. ... ... This RV park turned out to produce a fairly lengthy review by me, but it’s the sort of place that has many particular pros, cons and general attributes that made me consider many different RVer topics that can come up anywhere that you go, but “all in one spot,” so to speak, if that makes any sense to you. I will return! ... ... Disclaimer: you probably won’t need a reservation, but I suggest one. Ask first to view spot # 68, or one like it (depends on your needs, so look it all over) — and (as stated) do call ahead for up to date COVID and amenity information on the property before showing up. ... ... ... ... and, yes, I did try the RV dry camping here before. Depending upon your planned route, if you prefer boondocking at casinos, but really to stay at this property, just be prepared for “extra attentive security” and extra rules/limits that the RV park is exempt from, regarding your free RV parking areas — plus, it’s loud and full of diesel sounds and fumes; the usual truck stop-ish stuff. If you want to boondock at a casino in the general region, I suggest Colusa, instead of here; but, that’s a separate review entirely and not directly off of any major interstate. ... ... If you want to boondock in this region and have more privacy, etc. (and have time to plan it all out and deal with it), I suggest that you check out the many great public land options in this region, instead of boondocking here; but again, this place is right on I-5 and requires no boondocking planning ahead, if you’re on your way somewhere quickly, but want still want hook ups and a few very basic amenities. ... ... if they stepped a few things up, then they could easily charge more. ... ... At present time of writing this, I wouldn’t pay more than $40 as a daily rate category — and that’s before your Good Sam discount. ... The paid RV park will be paying close attention to you leaving with your rig on time (“about” 11 am) of your reserved check out date, even when they are not seemingly busy. I don’t recall when they make the boondockers leave, but if you’re here for free, do plan on leaving your boondocking spot about 8am, or well before and they usually only allow one night of boondocking at a time. I guess (conjecture) that they figure if you cannot afford the RV park, then you cannot afford to gamble, so be gracious about their allowance of free boondocking options and its rules. Remember: this RV park is an obvious adjunct business to their casino, and not charity. ... Most typical casino matters (pros and cons) appear to apply here, so keep that in mind. ... nothing special about their RV park, but it is very convenient. ... We were going to stay here 2, or 3 days longer (for resting up more before returning to boondocking) but the wind gusts were too formidable, plus it’s too boring and basic to justify paying more to stay here very long. Nearby locations “offered” less wind. ... Sorry for such a lengthy review, but this RV park is “complicated,” for as cheaply that it was designed. ... Loses one star for price and loses one more star for the apparent lack of effort to make the place look classy. I will return at some point probably.
