I was there 2020, water is shut off in the off seasons, I believe it was Feb. Water was available when I came back in the summer. There were port-a-potties that were kept up

This morning I found a fresh water line on a pole coming out of the ground at the stop sign before the parking lot. Also in the parking lot are 4 porta potties and 12 garbage dumping barrels. The water line has a valve and a plastic fill nozzle. The water looks clear and has no odor, but there are no signs for potable.

I have never seen any amenities or facilities on Rutherford Beach at all. I wouldn't drink the water even if there was some available.

We have been twice, separated by a hurricane which drastically altered the landscape. Never seen portapotties or water

I did not see any fresh water facility at Rutherford Beach in Oct 2021.

I was there last year. No water available. There are stores in nearby Cameron, and a pretty good Poboy as well. Beware mosquitoes. They are Legion.
