“Quick and Easy”

Pretty roadside stop alongside Yakima River. Self-check in. Quiet stay (minus a couple nearby trains). The six sites are close together, but we were all by ourselves which was wonderful. If it were a peak season we may feel differently. Vault toilets were clean and paved drive had recently had snow removed. Easy to access with small travel trailer.

“A good overnight, cell signal iffy”

Roza is at the head of Yakima Canyon and is a decent overnight but not great. Basically a paved lot with a boat ramp and some tent camping sites right next to the parking. Only 6 camping spots. But you can park smaller RVs and vans. Wouldn’t go over about 28 feet.

It’s a good overnight. And we had good luck with AT&T, especially our hot spot with a MIMO antenna. Verizon was non-existent and a friend said T-Mobile was barely able to make a call or text.

Regular price is $15:night but if you have the America the Beautiful National Parks pass, you get half off. So we paid $7.50.

There are dumpsters and clean vault toilets. Fire rings and picnic tables. A boat launch. But not much outside of the river here and no real hiking or biking trails.

Mostly quiet but trains run by a few times a day and are rather loud.
