Check in was great and ALL of the spots are excellent. Concrete pads with very nice landscaping, fire ring, picnic table with space. Not only will I be back, I’m eager to come back.

We stayed five days and enjoyed every minutes. Even if some amenities were close for winter, this place is so relaxing. I would say 15% of sites were occupied so we had the WiFi all by ourselves. 😁
Big rig friendly. Concrete pads are level. Showers are extra clean.

Top notch park. Check in was seamless and staff were very friendly and helpful. Park was quiet. Parking pads were cement and very level. Would definitely recommend.

We have 2 kids, a dog and a 44’ 5th wheel. We had a fantastic stay at this park. Checked in after dark, it’s a gated park, so call the number and they will let you in. Once you’ve checked in, they escort you to your site. Easy to maneuver and get situated on their oversized concrete pads.
The pool was closed for the season, but they said we could use the hotel pool, we just had to let them know first.
No park for the kids, but the dog park wasn’t terrible with a bench, grass, and some shrubbery. Laundry was decent, $1.50 wash and $1.00 dry. They give you a key card for the stay (similar to a hotel room), and you have to use it for the laundry room door & to return to the park after hours.
The laundry room door was jammed a little so it was difficult to open but the staff were friendly and came down to help right away.
Trash pickup at your space by 10am.
There is a shuttle to the casino if you want to check it out and they have a gas station that isn’t too bad—diesel was comparable pricing to what we saw elsewhere. It’s not too far from Albuquerque to do some exploring. All in all, it was a great stay.

It was really a nice place, well maintained, lots of space between sites, pull-through and back in(what we had), FREE DOG WASH that was perfect because we've been traveling (The Grand Circle) and the dog really did need a bath, grass between some of the sites. Husband had dinner/beers in one of the restaurants in the casino and enjoyed it.
Will stay there again.

We stopped here before heading over to the Balloon Fiesta. Big rig friendly, long, level, paved pull-through. Great power and water. Extremely clean with gracious staff. We will stay here again. We camped at Route 66 RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed a week here and was pleasantly surprised how well maintained it was for such an affordable price.
It’s fairly new and has a nice pool , amenity center with small gym , game area and laundry.
It’s located behind the big casino and you look out to miles of desert.
Its close enough to Albuquerque to go in for sightseeing and stores but far enough away you aren’t having to camp inside the city.
We were very happy with our day and plan to stop here again.

The campground is located about 25 minutes west of downtown Albuquerque, behind the Route 66 Casino Hotel. The casino complex sits alongside a lonely stretch of I-40 with a clear view in all directions. After exiting I-40, you’ll drive around the hotel and casino to reach the campground: there are signs for the RV resort that will guide you. When you reach the campground area, you’ll pass through a gate which closes at night (you’ll receive a card that will let you through the gate after hours) and then pull off to the right to check in at the office. You’ll be guided to your site.
The sites are a mix of pull-throughs and back-ins. All of the sites have concrete pads with asphalt driveways, along with picnic tables and fire pits. The deluxe back-in sites have small grass lawns on the door side of the site; other sites just have red dirt and gravel. Each site also has some desert vegetation, but there are no shade trees. All of the sites are pretty long - our site (1103) had plenty of room for our 21-foot truck and 37-foot fifth wheel - and there’s a decent amount of space between sites. Our site was level, and all of the hookups were in a reasonable place.
Most of the amenities are located at the front of the campground. The “amenity center” is a large building containing a lounge area with chairs, a TV, and a fireplace. Adjacent to the lounge area is a full kitchen with a Gatorade vending machine and a coffee station, as well as a game area with a pool table, foosball table and a bar shuffleboard table. Laundry facilities are located in another area of the building. A parking lot separates the amenity center from a putting green, two pickleball courts, and an outdoor volleyball court. Across the streets from the courts is the propane refill station, which is right along the exit road, making it easy for Class A RVs to get a refill on the way out. On the other side of the amenity center is the outdoor pool area, which was closed during our stay. There is also a large outdoor pavilion area with grills for large outdoor gatherings, a bathhouse, and a dog washing station at the back of the campgrounds. The campground has two enclosed dog parks, a large one next to the amenity center, and a smaller one near the middle of the campground.
In terms of cell service, the best speed I got on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna was 29Mbps down and 16 up, but there were a number of evenings when the bandwidth was congested enough to make it unusable, and even during the day there were periodic slowdowns and signal drops. The best speed I got on my AT&T smartphone was 86Mbps down and 34 up, and while the connection did drop once or twice, it was far more stable than Verizon. We tried the campground WiFi, but it was unusable.
The distance from Albuquerque means you probably want to stock up on groceries if you plan on staying a few nights, but there are several dining options in the casino and hotel complex.
You do have to check out, either online or in person. We left just before the noon checkout time, and apparently if you leave that late online checkout isn’t an option. But it only took a minute to stop at the office on the way out.
We would stay here again if we were in the area.

Unless you're a millionaire, love to gamble, enjoy a whole lot of nothing for a view, this isn't your place. The lady at the front desk was emotionless and cold. You're escorted to your campsite, which was weird because that left the other 5 people checking in waiting in line because no one was available to check you in. You have to call to find where the fooseball/pool equipment is, but the front desk is too busy escorting people to answer questions. Someone left animal poop at our site. We never went to the dining at the casino because the sign said everyone had to be 21 or over to enter, and we traveled with a 4yo. Pool wasn't open, "game room" was more of board games and jigsaw puzzles that appeared to be several decades old. No playground, pool was closed. Gas station was garbage and several people giving the creeper vibe. Not a resort. Just a full-hookup rv site. 100% not worth it.
