“OK, but lots of better and free dispersed camping 1/4 mile away.”

We stayed the first night in the campground, but discovered that dispersed camping started just past the cattle guard 1/4 mile up the road. The dispersed sites were bigger, and less crowded.

“Nice, Quiet Camping”

We had to cut our stay short due to a medical emergency, but our overnight stay was nice. We will likely be staying here in the future.
The campground is right off a main highway on a forest service road. The campground is in tall pines and was quiet while we were there. The campsites are fairly far apart so you don't feel like you are right on top of other people. I reserved the last site available for the weekend which we put our trailer in, but the fire pit and table were a distance away. This would not have been a problem with tents. The campground was clean and the toilets were pristine.
The campground host was very helpful. He let us know about the bears in the area, but had not seen any probably due to the number of dogs with campers. He did mention that coyotes had come close the night before so to be careful with our small dogs. He drove around the campground early evening with firewood for sale which was convenient. He also let us know when he would be cleaning toilets the following morning so as not to inconvenience us.
Cell service was spotty to non-existent.
