“Beautiful view of Lake Superior”

Overall Rating

There are about thirty six campsites at this small campground with both Electric or Dry Camping. When I arrived it was nice and sunny and the lake was beautiful. Was not planning to stay but loved the view. It is busy plus it is a long weekend with a holiday on Monday. Managed to get a no hookup. The site is quite nice with a lot of shade. Although it is full, it is quiet.

The bathrooms are clean with plenty of hot water for the showers.

Once arrived it got cloudy and been raining most of the day. The place would be great when it is warm and sunny.

Cell service is very good here.

Overall Rating

There are two sections to Rainbow Falls. The first is located on the shores of Lake Superior, and the second across the street on the shores of Whitesand Lake. The second is where you will find the falls.

We stayed in a waterfront site on the Lake Superior side and loved it! Great views, nice grassy lawn, and a rocky beach only steps from our front door. This is really small park, and I suspect it would be hard to get a waterfront site during peak season, but during our stay at the end of June we had several to choose from.

The only negative is that the park is right off the main road and you can hear the traffic go by.
