This was a reasonably priced campground with a couple of sites that have power pedestals. Both pedestals are controlled by breakers in the same box. If the smaller pedestal is not working, make sure the breaker in the other box is turned on. This site is only yards away from fishing access on the Yellowstone River. The boat ramp is ver... more
This was a reasonably priced campground with a couple of sites that have power pedestals. Both pedestals are controlled by breakers in the same box. If the smaller pedestal is not working, make sure the breaker in the other box is turned on. This site is only yards away from fishing access on the Yellowstone River. The boat ramp is very close to the site. There are two outhouses on the premises, one for the fishing access and one for the campground. Use the campground outhouse, it's a little cleaner. There is also water on the site. It was quiet for the most part, with some trains, watercraft and aircraft noise. There is no full time camp host, and I didn't see anybody checking to see if the campers paid the fee. There are about 15 sites and some of them are pull throughs. The cell signal was strong.

There are two electric sites in this campground. Water is available at select sites. Easy pull through’s for large campers. Wooded and private sites. Vault toilet available. Lots of fall mushrooms available, a short walk to the Yellowstone river. Prices vary from five dollars to $15, see photo.

Right off the interstate. Fresh water available, some sites have electric. Electric sites cost an extra $5 per night. $18 is the standard nonresident rate. Right off the interstate. Fresh water available, some sites have electric. Electric sites cost an extra $5 per night. $18 is the standard nonresident rate. If costs less if you have a MT fishing license. Price was reasonable compared to all other nearby campgrounds.
Fire pit and picnic table at each site. Most sites looked pretty level. It’s right next to the Dam, which has boar access and fishing.
Only downside: Lots of mosquitoes.
