Nice place for the money. Mosquitos are out of this world though - just don’t leave doors and windows open etc.

There is one space (maybe two) assigned for RV’ers next to the one space for tent camping. Both right along the Willapa River which provides gorgeous scenery. The clear view of boat launch also makes for good entertainment.
Along Highway 101 just outside of town, so there is some traffic noise. We are enjoying our stay immensely.

Previous reviews said it was free if parked on the far West end of lot and with Discover Pass. But we were told that is not correct and had to pay the guy that came around to check in the morning. Conflicting information, but there are signs everywhere that say $10 RV camping and $5 Tent Camping.

So this is actually the Helen Davis Memorial Park with Ron Craig Boat Launch within it. It is a shared property between the City South Bend and Washington State Department of Natural Resources. So if you have a State Parks Discover Pass you can stay for "Free". I called City Hall and it was confirmed by the Police Chief. They do ask that when using the Discover Pass that you camp at the far west end of the park past the boat trailer parking. If you pay the $10 city park fee, you are free to park pretty much anywhere including the paved areas. The area is right on the river, was clean, well maintained with a couple of picnic tables, dock and boat ramp. Parking was fairly level. There is a bit of road noise but it went away later in the evening..

Right on the river with nice views. Port-a-potty and picnic table is all that's here. You need the $30 Discover pass to stay here. Lots of parking for big rigs.
